About

Although for now I prefer to stay anonymous here is a little bit about myself. I’m married with children and in my mid to late thirties. My 10+ year career has been in logistics (distribution centers) and I love what I do. My educational background is in industrial engineering and my normal day is oriented around budgeting, process improvement, and data analytics.  The usual way I sum up my job to others is I provide advice and recommendations on ways to save time and money.

I won’t pretend to give advice on things I know nothing about and as a result all the topics I’ll cover come from personal experience. I’m genuinely excited to share them because we are never too old to learn something new. This site’s primary focus will be sharing real and tangible ideas that will help the average reader. The advice is basic but it’s powerful when summed together. I wish someone had told me earlier in life everything I will share with you and in essence that is the purpose of learn you how.

I have a myriad of personal interests that have evolved over the years. Lately I enjoy reading, hiking, and vegetable gardening in my backyard.  Growing up playing video games encouraged my curiosity and led me to learn more about computers, Linux, tinkering, and simply trying to understand how things work. I’m going to share much of what I’ve learned over the years and I hope some of it will be insightful, interesting, and maybe even entertaining. I genuinely enjoy sharing and teaching what I know so without further ado let’s learn your how.
